Assistance with Completing Form C Debt Service Levy Preparations for Missouri
School Districts
Each year, as part of the service provided
by L.J. Hart & Company, letters with brief
survey forms are sent to clients and others
requesting this assistance to enable the
Company to calculate accurately the
projected debt service levy that can be submitted to the Missouri
State Auditor’s office and the County Clerk. Sometimes, the
district needs to prepay existing bonds in order to maintain the debt
service levy and to remain in a good position for a future no-tax levy
increase general obligation bonding proposal. This service has been well received
and beneficial to numerous districts.
Our basic service is to help local governments borrow money on a tax-exempt
basis to meet their capital facilities and equipment needs. These are some of
